This is a pretty good diagram showing the Ackermann Principal, but it is slightly incorrect, insofar as the Ackermann lines should bisect directly over the centre of the non-steered (usually rear) axle.

I find it amazing that many tractor manufacturers haven’t got it quite correct. Probably using the same axles on both 4 and the longer wheelbase 6 cylinder Models, which will cause excessive tyre wear on the front wheels.
The BMB President was famous for not having Ackerman, but it wasn't really a tractor! I also remember the fuss John Deere made over their 13 degree 4wd front steering angles so I copy more pages from my bible!

This made me nostalgic to when there were lots of makes (and choice). Pink Dania, white hydro Kodel, silver Claas, Lely/FH fold in the middle, 3 wheel Viking, Activ, twin engined Marshall, Claeys, Ransomes, etc. The electric table lift and rotary screen (hen food on the left) of a MH 726 bagger, when sample and losses were important. Before being 'combined', reaping and threshing were in different seasons and locations. Reaping was faster than flail threshing too.

Yep , we too had the MH 726 ,
the Dania and the silver Claas (all 3 were baggers) on the home farm in the 60s & 70s.
