A steel oil pipe for the steering has got a pin pr*ck hole in it. Oil only weeps out. Is there any type of sealant that could be used for a temporary fix. Only on yard tractor, no road work. Thanks.

It's getting it clean that's the problem but liquid metal might solve the issue.

Might liquid metal not become liquid again when the oil warms up? I had to replace a similar steering oil pipe on our old Ford a year or 2 ago.... thanks to TFF advise I had my local hydraulics chaps make up a flexible hose with the appropriate fittings. Quick, simple and pretty cheap.

a new flexi hose is the obvious answer but I thought it sounded a more bodge than repair situation!!
Liquid metal be fine, it can stand quite a high temp.
