The hay turning tractor waiting for more action tomorrow, now fitted with a duluxe padded seat cushion after complaints by my beloved

A B250? Is she light in the steering when you lift the tedder?
She lifts/folds the tedder and steers fine. It is completely flat here, though, and I don't lift it much when it's in use anyway. I don't think I would drive it up the road though. :) I have a set of front wheel weights from dad's 414 days, but have never got round to fitting them. The 250 gets a bit warm on first cut hay, but we tend to use the 434 on that.

I can remember using a trailed Fahr Centipede many years ago.

To take it on the road you would fold the two end rotors and wheels in behind. Image towing a supermarket trolley behind a MF 35 and you get some idea of what it was like.

But then, taking a Pheasant turner on the road was nearly as bad-just two small wheels in a line, expecting it to fall over any second!

But I had a neighbour who would take his acrobat on the road without putting it in the transport position!

We had an early Kuhn 4 rotor tedder, and it was yellow with fold out end rotors which had to be held in place by struts with r-clips through the ends. Mum managed to lose an r clip on her first try and smashed the whole thing up. I think the replacement was still called a Kuhn, but was an exact lookalike of the Fahr Centipede so I guess Kuhn built the better design under license or just put their own stickers on them.

Is easy on that drain we were putting in but there is a free floating sight on the boom You then put up some marker poles which have a bar on them then you move the boom to match. We were going up a hill there with a natural fall. We have actually accidentally run over the markers so have been looking into a receiver to use with the laser level.
