They forget to tell you this before you buy them! We’re quite happy with how long the transmission lasts never had problems apart from the one in the new tractor which lasted 30 hours so don’t think there theory’s worked

Hi just set max revs to 2200 or max the turn the forward and reverse button off then just use the TMS button on the armrest or pedal mode button should fix the problem

If your pulling out from dangerous junction and blind spots and a 240hp tractor with 12 ton silage trailer had flat spot at take off or turbo lag .it is very dangerous. We've all tried tried having in auto trying it from 0 t0 30 . Adjusted tms no difference. Must need some software upgrade . I have older 720 and it will take of quickly from start.

We got 2 new 2020 724's after christmas and they are the same, the old 724 I drove definitely had faster acceleration from standstill, the new ones must "think" for 3 seconds before they go. Dealer says its because of new software and possibly to be nicer to the gearbox as mentioned

No they’ve never done anything about it and not doing themselves any favours there’s 5 of them in the yard and the older 16 reg is by far the best one by a long way

Is this an engine torque limiter thing at tip-in (i.e. off idle) for emissions reasons where the engine doesn't have torque until its built some revs, or a transmission thing where it doesn't place any load on the engine initially???

What if you artificially raise engine rpms to say 1200 before trying to move off?

TMS sorts all that out & they all take up drive faster in pedal mode, than stick mode

My 69 plate 724 has just had a service and I noticed it was more sluggish after. They did update the software at the service.
