I ask the above as considering going on a plane journey lasting 2hrs but the hanging about at the airport turns that into 4 hr trip. Thanks for any useful
suggestions.
Most of you will say why bother with good reason!!!

If masks are so effective, why is the common cold raging now once kids have gone back to school?

I think probably face masks in a sterile, clinical setting might work or help but the reality is people are constantly playing with them and making things worse I would guess.

I saw three old pensioners in the local shop last week in a panic because they had forgotten they needed face masks but luckily one of the old dears found three of her old used masks in the bottom of her handbag and shared them with her two friends.

You just couldn't make this sh***t up, the same goes for school children they will be swapping or dare I say it trading masks with each other for a cooler more fashionable one.

Yes, I'm gonna say do you really need to go.

I liked the old 3m masks with the metal clip you could bend over your nose and get a really good fit.

If you do any grain cleaning in a dusty environment you already know what it does to your hair, skin and clothes. Regardless of the mask staying in place and working - if you are exposed then you will be covered in virus and will need to be washed completely.

So take a portable pressure washer or try a car wash on arrival ? :)

If you don't need to, don't bother.

Never a truer word spoken. Being stranded in a foreign country, unable to get home and possibly requiring medical treatment could be a total nightmare. No E111 soon as well.

I wear a regular surgical mask for around 13 hours a day, comfortable enough provided I shave regularly because it becomes hell on my face if I haven't.

Kids dont wear masks at least not locally and if my grandsons habits ( he is 6 ) are anything to go by , I am. Not at all surprised.

Wales and it turns out this morning they don't have to wear them anymore as someone from the county council sent the email by mistake. It just gets better everyday 🙄

Alright, but Wales isn't a county... I guess you aren't in Carmarthenshire, because I'd have received the e-mail too if CCC had sent it.
