Would have done, but the Freeflow was the last one left and I didn't fancy that if it gets to wet. If its not here in the next few days the agreement will get torn up and I'll either hire something of pick up a cheapish combi for this year. 1/2 the farm will be full of BG if I went this early on it :banghead:
I feel your pain, bought and paid for a second drill over a fortnight ago to try and stay ahead of the weather this year on the condition it was delivered in September, don't thinks its coming today, I wonder if its the same big mechinery dealer? (pm sent).

Impressed and pleased for those that have finished, not started here yet ☹
Blackgrass ?? Bydv for me . Will start w barley on Thursday and continous wheat the week after . All first wheats this year are after 40 acres of lea ground let out for spuds last spring it seemed a good idea at the time ...... That and 20 acres of maize not yet ready . If it stays wet both pieces could resemble the battle of the somme . And be left till spring . The best laid plans of man and then God laughs ......:scratchhead::scratchhead:

Blackgrass, breakdowns, poor weather, bydv and lack of seed in that order. Must try harder. Would have liked to get some winter barley in this week or end of last but it wasn’t to be. Forecast is terrible. There is also over 3000t beet to lift..... 🤦‍♂️

I hope it works when you get it.
I bought a drill 2 months ago, course it sat in the shed, went to hook it up 3 weeks ago and it needed a new machine computer. All sorted now, and dealer promised to pay, but the only thing that didn't get drilled was some environmental mix for a neighbour, but I would have been more than pee'd off if it was in a weeks time when we might need to use it in earnest.
