Tried the Cheffins sales website, No sales report

What was the trade like, especially the Jones bedtiller, seed drills & Fendt tool carrier. Would have loved to follow live online, but busy hand pulling swede. Which reminds me, how much did the Asa lift make?

Just go onto the sale catalogue and click more information on any lot and it will come up with the sale price.

Ultimate classic for me, but 13.5k is a lot of money for 39 year old tractor.

I've tried its all disappeared. I was not registed is that the reason? How about the Jones net rolling machine?

Looks like many lots were withdrawn before the sale.

Quite a few. A lot of kit was in sheds behind boxes. Don’t know whether the withdrawn lots were sold prior or kept back for their arable work.

Seen plenty at sales not make the "reserve". Like offering a kid sweets then whipping them away when they try to take one.

Absolutely, especially collective sales. None of the bidding was followed by those inimitable words “we’re not quite there” yesterday though. The withdrawn lots were all withdrawn before the sale.

No cause they had already withdrawn the lots.
Better than the not quite there yet when you have travelled miles.
Why not just start it at reserve and have done with it?

I wonder what Cheffins reaction is to that. The vendors would of known there intentions from the start then get it all falsely advertised to lure the buyers in and the auctioneers to quote a good % for selling then move the goalposts. Arses.
