Just got in from making a start on clearing a poplar up that blew over in the high winds we had a couple of days ago. Should be enough firewood to keep the home fires burning for a day or two...

The main trunk is somewhere off to the right and runs way out of the photo, still a couple of hours work left to clear it!

Lovely to see all you lads and lasses getting the winter corn in, I'm now feeling way behind 😂

Over the weekend with the bosses help we harnessed the boys up and sent them off for a spot of "colouring in" they wasted no time in getting on with the job...

Finally back at work for an hour or two. I get to drive the quick fencer and shout instructions out of the window in the 'prepare the ground for new hedges project' This time realigning the boundary between fields whilst incorporating a mid field oak rather than just missing it like the old fence on the left.

Glad to see you back at work even if it is fencing
Those quick fencers are a great piece of engineering.
