Finally back at work for an hour or two. I get to drive the quick fencer and shout instructions out of the window in the 'prepare the ground for new hedges project' This time realigning the boundary between fields whilst incorporating a mid field oak rather than just missing it like the old fence on the left.

We used to dump the pressure as low as possible for the last bale, jam the stuffer sensor door open with a pair of vice grips and manually tie the bale at about 4ft long, then again when finished, tie a ratchet strap round the 6 strings and pull out with forklift.

Never leave straw in it over winter. Always empty it and spray oil and diesel on bale chamber to keep it shiny.
