What wellies are all you guys buying? It’s a nightmare trying to find something to last more than 6-8 months. I am currently wearing Dunlop purefort thremos which are absolutely shite!! Leak in no time! 2nd pair in last 12 months! Plus I live in north wales... rains all the time...!! so boots arnt a option for most of the year. Tried buckbootz which arnt much better either!

I'm on my second pair of Turkish wellies from Kiwikit. Very comfortable and last well, without being crazy money. I war them all the time, apart from when it's very cold, when the neoprene lined Aigles come out to play.

I had for many years wore Puraforts and still find them the most comfortable for me but they would leak after 6 months.
Bought a pair of Aigles non safety and soon found out why the puraforts leaked. It appears I use safety wellingtons as a hammer to bash things into place because I really hurt my foot within a few days of wearing the Aigles.

Hate wellies
I got through 3 pairs of Le Chameau in 18 months they are not built for work just shooting and walking the dog. I now have a cheap pair of Dunlops for occasional summer use and a pair of Aigle wellies which were as expensive as Le Chameau but with 5mm of neoprene in for winter use. They are worn all day everyday for atleast 5 months and after two years are still going strong.

V12 Alpha ice pack wellies have served me well, spent up to 6 months of the year in them depending on weather. Comfy and nice big chunky grips on the sole which vastly reduce time spent picking yourself back up out of ruts, ditches, drains etc and most importantly instances of having to undress at the back door.
Is that right? Thought shooting was exempt but probably wrong. Mind, you’re socially distanced on your pegs ...

I only had to buy another pair after the soles wore right down on my first pair, and no longer wanting a pair of racing slicks underfoot.
I was born and raised on a dairy farm, so still have wellies on more often than not.

Bekina thermolite lasted longer than anything here,comfy under foot and warm. This pair lasted 24 hours because Dad's dog took a liking to them . B@stard

Last pair before Land Master's. The ones with Mitchelin featured super tread. Completely split around the sole. Just over a year old and 2 months outside warranty. Saying that they were comfortable, my only complaint apart from the poor quality is the tread, though brilliant on mud, dangerous on tractor pedals for the lack of heel in damp conditions. Slip straight of the pedals. Fine accept the boots are expensive.

Neoprene Aigles have lasted me 3 winters and still going strong. Wear them every day in winter. Too hot for summer time though.
