Wasn’t expecting this in a 3 year old 5 ton linkage that was carrying a 2 ton F188B7FE-4773-4AFC-BD4C-9C4C7AD6C39A.jpegF93A0960-9DC7-476C-B0FA-923D1ED87E94.jpegfront weight. They want £600 for a new one including the carriage. Anyone had similar?

From the look of the bottom hole it's been subject to shock loads from the weight bouncing around.

You're better off using the solid pin hole unless you need it in float position.

Does it have suspension accumulators?

Can you not just buy a new arm?

@Guy
I can just buy the arm for the sum mentioned. Just seems a bit steep for one arm and not so sure it should of broken. Not so sure about the weight bouncing either but maybe.

Have your local laser cutters draw one and cut you a new one then local engineering ship bend it and weld the hook end on. 200-300 all done I imagine.

Yes. CNH variation on T7 long wheelbases and Magnum. Same arm though on both. Keep bushes in stock a regular wear part and when they wear it can shock load arm. When under warranty we had them replaced too often - even had CNH service guy inspect. He suggested it was fair wear and tear until he was told the bushes were less than 14 days old. Unsurprisingly new bushes appeared very soon after. Weak design.

Weight or post knocker should be in the back, fixed holes. Topper or press or something would want to be in the front floating holes. At least that's how I have our stuff. Not had a problem and been running Lynx since 2004.

Doesnt look like a five ton linkage, my 3 ton looks a lot stronger than that
It was sold as a 5 ton linkage so I guess so but only have the salesmans word for it currently. It’s on a JD 8RT and they supposedly only do the 5 ton linkages for those.
