Rain showers made loading sticky.

Ploughed it all yesterday and today. Prefer using 6800 on 18.4 tyres but tread getting down and surface went greasy with the weekend rain. Gave the 155 an airing instead.

One of the cattle got itself stuck. Managed to get its leg into the ring then out of the side. Needed persuasion from a fence post to lift it back through.

Do you not electric fence them in?
No not usually as they're only in each field for normally 3-4days which is usually fine as they dont get bored but this place is a nightmare.

Got told that the hedges were fine enough that they should be ok here.
Havent got time to do it at the moment as dads really not very well and has been house bound for the past 2 weeks so I'm all on my own foot thr foreseeable future :/

I don’t like to put up too many posts on a day bIut this is really worth putting up. This chap just dropped into a cabbage field just now 6 o’clock our time. Apparently it’s the chaps first time flying this plane and he had fuel problems so an emergency landing in the cabbages. Unfortunately he cannot take off through the broccoli cos the soil is too soft.
