BTW did you manage to hang onto your toupee or did the wind finally take it
.perhaps ppl were being polite case it were true and indeed ,having flown off, said toupee took refuge in a rabbit hole and took 3 lads wi ferrets to bolt
I hope that's not yet another thinly veiled insinuation about my coiffeurjust after lunch my 20mm stone arrives....blimey that driver doesn't need a toupee....fine barnet...perhaps i've missed my vocation 'toupee assessor'

thursday
tired ...fed up....stressed this morning.....no reason to be but don't we all get days like that?
couldn't face catching all ewes/rams/lambs up to separate but mrs spin ,for some reason, is keen to avoid preggy ewe lambs.....we catch up a 'bargain' including the rams and get them + 30 odd lambs out....bloke came and got exec boardroom...started and drove to gate....then onto trailer
lunch + nap then feel better .....coupla hours on forklift shifting rubble/aggregate and tidying.....stop cos liveries start to turn up....peacock hails me 'alright james?'....'ok i suppose ...bloomin plenty of work' i roll my eyes.....'ah thats wimmin fer yer' replies peacock....i give him puzzled look......'well' he says 'its wimmin bringin' the 'orses'
feed then back home......BIG NEWS......quick tinternet peruse ......phone yomb and make A PURCHASE......don't get to exited it's just a rear end loader ....i've been on the look out quite a while for a stand by as i worry if the forklift breaks down i'd be in a muddle....£250 i reckon it's bargain
two photos tonight....my lambs been selling well but we all have 'characters' as admiral calls them...'screws' to you/me.....so let me introduce 'rabbit'....though in truth she looks like a chihuahua....rescued struck off the field sept....all her wool fell out last week
mrs spin cooked a lovely casserole for tea....i decide to supplement with dumplings but forget about them.....there were 4 originally
Not so much the potteries as the cousin of one of our neighbouring farmers, who is more famous for his eyebrows.Nice bit of Emma Bridgewater there Spin Maester . See, you love to support The Potteries really .
Capt Peacock is a wise chap and I wholeheartedly agree with his sentiments as I could spend all day in the peaceful companionship of my equine clients but their human owners sometimes make a few decades as a solitary hermit on an island with a sniper tower and a big eff-off drawbridge seem like a very good plan for the future.thursday

What, the plate is a knock off ? I will have a word with Mrs B tell her to send the boys round.
I know where you are going wrong...they used to have 'seconds' sales at his farm....cue great female exitement locally
uneventful but very productive morning doing odds/ends.....strawbs' container arrived,,,,,i found a 28mm socket in the shingle....but splashed some black bitumen on the freshly painted dairy wall whilst doing a gatepost
after lunch got sheep ready for mart tommoz....bitta farce but got there eventually,,,,got trampled as i tried to put a fearing tag in with a shearing gun,,,,don't ask.....it can be done but i couldn't recommend it
finally... had another go at making dumplings
I know where you are going wrong...
You should put it in the oven

no there's 3.....best things come in threes....like goals in a footie match .....mind you if one side scores 3 goals and the other side only scores 2.....THAT'S 5
