BTW did you manage to hang onto your toupee or did the wind finally take it
.perhaps ppl were being polite case it were true and indeed ,having flown off, said toupee took refuge in a rabbit hole and took 3 lads wi ferrets to bolt
just after lunch my 20mm stone arrives....blimey that driver doesn't need a toupee....fine barnet😁...perhaps i've missed my vocation 'toupee assessor'
I hope that's not yet another thinly veiled insinuation about my coiffeur :woot: :woot:

couldn't face catching all ewes/rams/lambs up to separate but mrs spin ,for some reason:scratchhead::D, is keen to avoid preggy ewe lambs:scratchhead::D.....we catch up a 'bargain' including the rams and get them + 30 odd lambs out....bloke came and got exec boardroom...started and drove to gate....then onto trailer:oops:

lunch + nap then feel better (y).....coupla hours on forklift shifting rubble/aggregate and tidying.....stop cos liveries start to turn up....peacock hails me 'alright james?'....'ok i suppose ...bloomin plenty of work' i roll my eyes.....'ah thats wimmin fer yer' replies peacock....i give him puzzled look:scratchhead:......'well' he says 'its wimmin bringin' the 'orses':rolleyes:😁😁😁

feed then back home......BIG NEWS......quick tinternet peruse ......phone yomb and make A PURCHASE:oops:......don't get to exited it's just a rear end loader ....i've been on the look out quite a while for a stand by as i worry if the forklift breaks down i'd be in a muddle;)....£250 i reckon it's bargain(y)

two photos tonight....my lambs been selling well :) but we all have 'characters' as admiral calls them:rolleyes:...'screws' to you/me:D.....so let me introduce 'rabbit'....though in truth she looks like a chihuahua:D....rescued struck off the field sept....all her wool fell out last week

mrs spin cooked a lovely casserole for tea:love:....i decide to supplement with dumplings but forget about them:banghead:.....there were 4 originally😭

Capt Peacock is a wise chap and I wholeheartedly agree with his sentiments as I could spend all day in the peaceful companionship of my equine clients but their human owners sometimes make a few decades as a solitary hermit on an island with a sniper tower and a big eff-off drawbridge seem like a very good plan for the future.

Is little demonic Rabbit a Norfolk Hurdler or does she have other talents (apart from all her woollies falling off)? Pets at Home do a rather snazzy Joules quilted jacket which would keep her dry and toasty and is label-appropriate for a North Norfolk horsy establishment:

Or alternatively a festive Christmas outfit:
