Plenty lambs in the prime market with lack of flesh that’s what he’s getting at which if you bought them would be the cheapest store lambs there has ever been.
A mate bought 400 one day like that cheaper than stores
If the market excepts them no doubt. Difference is 4 men bidding on fat and 24 bidding on the stores. I would rather buy out of stores and picking on potential and not weight on the day so much. What they will come too!!

The hard bit is having the patience to stand there to buy them
The other problem is you could be bidding up people who you are trying to sell to
That’s why I don’t dare start bidding at feeding lambs in the fat. Might get 30-40 handy stores but when my 100 fats come in later and a couple of buyers turn their backs suddenly those stores aren’t cheap!!

I’ve seen them do it. They won’t even look at them if you’ve upset the job
Yep. I can buy plenty out of the fat at my local marts as I don’t sell back into them at all. The buyers can glare and run me as much as they want. All they have too do is go one bid past my price and I’ll leave them alone. But my god it’s good fun winding them up! 😂😂
