Whip out the shaft and put a new seal in.
Don't put it in the same spot push it in further if possible so the seal is running on a different part of the shaft

cheers , looked like it would be the case didn’t want to go in gung ho and end up with bits everywhere. What oil does it take for the axle and how much? And this is a silly question what engine oil does it take that’s the last thing left to drop and change 👍🏻

Any one able to explain with photos of which two spool valves you would use on a 895 xl to operate a post knocker?? Only ever used a single spool on her for tipping trailer and grass harrows. Theres 4 spool connectors at the back . Thanks for any help given

They are paired unlike most spools horizontally. I don’t know whether a knocker needs a free flow return though.

Wondering if a 1455xl will be alright running a hydraulic fan on a mounted drill all day long? Pump capacity is about 46 lpm I think.
