For many Americans I think Trump represented the American dream. He became president without being part of the political system. Biden is woefully incapable of healing America and will likely deepen the divide and push middle Americans further towards extremism. The UK is currently undergoing a similar problem of successive governments pandering to the vocal minorities whilst leaving behind the silent majority, combined with hoarding money in a couple of highly populated areas.

There are some very astute posters on this forum. There are also some total clowns.

I think we have seen both in this thread....
But one man's clown could be another's professor. The truth is most of us do not really have answers we can only draw conclusions from the information we able to find. There are so many conspiracy theories out there how do we, as mere members of world population, even begin to sift out the truth? Trump is likely a rather nasty narcissistic individual but what was different was his path to presidency. He had not apparently been groomed for that office for years, working through the system. The established politicians on both sides and I would guess the backrooms of the various state organisations would not like the outsider changing/challenging their system.
I feel Trump came to power for similar reasons that our Labour North voted for BoJo and why Brexit happened.

Just for clarity, are you advocating putting someone with no relevant experience into one of the most important jobs in the world?

The problem these days you simply cant believe anything you see/hear or read from any news outlets.
The world is in a bad place not sure what the answer is but when you have the media saying all these things about trump it makes me wonder why they are do scared,

And that ladies and gentlemen is the point. Negative views of trump have come from what you’ve read in the media spawned over 50 years of his career.

If you look at what he’s done during his term as president then he’s one of the best.

The media in my view should be totally ignored by us all. Stop reading, stop watching and ignore.

I’ll start the ball rolling.

For me he’s one of the best presidents ever. He’s run it like a business which is how all countries should be run. Prior to COVID the American economy has been the best it’s been for 40 years.

He’s done exactly what he said he was going to do.

He’s held the media to account which is what needs to happen here as well.

He’s been totally setup last week. CNN were already at Capitol Hill waiting. No other news crew were there prior to things kicking off. There is video evidence of this. The police escorted Antifa into the proceedings - again this is on video. The police opened the barriers letting them take a run at the building - again this is on video.

I don’t think the current situation is over. Joe Biden is to be impeached on his first day of office.

Trump clearly won the election and 75 million Americans aren’t going to let this go.

I thought this was just tongue in cheek sarcasm. I am wrong! :inpain:
