I see Harper Adam’s are at it now! Student union decided to support veganuary.... then 30mims later decided it was a “poor” decision then put out a statement! FFS
I saw that earlier, getting all the Ex students fired up.
It's nice to know that the SU is supporting the majority of their students future/current occupations

It’s very odd. The current student union president regularly shows dairy cows. Why would he allow Veganuary to be promoted on his watch?
It’s all about being PC and woke.... world has gone made! Have a pint/water - and a bacon sandwich/cheese sandwich and debate! We seem to have lost the ability or indeed fear/passion to do this!

When I was at Seale Hayne in the seventies the student union was totally alien to most of the students, a handful of 'mature students' who had their own agenda. Once they arranged busses to a leftie protest in Exeter, but the students found a butchers shop selling foreign meat, blockaded it, and got on the local news, the SU were furious! Also they booked head banging rock bands for dances, when we would have preferred Adge Cutler or the Yetties.

The vegan brigade don’t seem to have any understanding that big business is behind a lot of the processed imported food they consider so “environmentally friendly“.
Absolutely, I know someone who has done several trips to foreign hell holes with medicine san frontier and save the children where their goats and the odd cow are their staple forms of nutrition.
He finds its quite ironic that the people who claim to be saving the planet are lining the pockets of the global elite.

We all know it’s coming, and hopefully a bit dumbed down this year. So how are people planning on responding or countering the general b*ll*cks that goes with it?
We supply an online farmers market with pies, pasties, cakes, lamb, beef etc. I rather hit the roof when I read that they were asking what pies and pasties we’ll have available next week as they want to do a veganuary promotion, so in response we’re doing discounted lamb through January, even though market prices are rising.
Anybody got similar ideas or good 1 liner responses?
My stock answers are:
a) Our sheep and cattle are vegan, therefore suitable for vegan diets.
b) Sorry, we only do ethical food.
I shall eat meat for 2 and thus wipe out the efforts of a vegan...

Meanwhile, The Grocer has summed up nicely an opinion on the sick advertising campaign.
