Well, the whole referendum idea is flawed. Actually, I don’t know where you (and my family) go from here. Just as Farage was always banging on about leaving the Eu, even though you were in it, I would certainly expect “pro uk prosperity” groups to campaign for greater integration.
To think this January is the end of it would be bizarre in the extreme.
Actually, I don’t see how it ever ends now, we’ll done Mr Cameron🥺

I think that in elections the winning party forming a government should have regard for the views of the minority ie it should govern for the whole of the country. The referendum demonstrated a large number of people dissatisfied with the EU. Up until that referendum those people were ignored. Is this a weakness of the EU process?
I would think that a similar referendum in all countries would show a broadly similar result. Should the views of such a large number of people be ignored

Obviously you shouldn’t go off front first👍
I wish I could find a mk2 with the square headlights. The GT I think it was. Drivers door wouldn't open on mine so it was Starsky and Hutch job. Loved that car. Dammit.

voting in the UK is simple, most votes = winner, while i agree it isn't much of a margin, that is how it works, it probably is the right way, when you look at all the cobbled together coalition's in world, with several parties trying to put their agenda's in first place, it doesn't seem to fully work. Voting the world over, is a contentious issue, you only have to look at the 'rigged' results in many 3rd world countries, at least we didn't have riots in the UK, like USA have, with a close vote, and accusations of vote rigging. Neither do we have follow up referendums, if the first result isn't the one, that our leaders wanted, we leave that to the commissions non elected political enforcers, they have instigated a few re-runs, haven't they. Quite happily it was a complete cock-up, cameron should never have stated that he would 'reform' the EU, just as it was a mistake of the commission, in not playing ball, a few meaning actions, would have smoothed everything over, they didn't, a huge mistake, cameron put the in/out referendum up, and the result was a suprise. But to say this was so close, it should be 'ignored' is basically an insult to the UK electorate, that is how our system is, replicated in many countries, who respect the 'the mother of all parliaments'. That's the system, like it, or lump it. You live in another country, so please don't tell us, how we should run our electoral system.
No. We are probably on the same page but most votes does not mean the winner. Unless you hire a barrister for £500 an hour and take apart that sentence.

Do you see that as being a problem?😂
Well it's what a lot of remain supporters said should have happened before a major change, so if it was right before we left it must be right now . Or are they just going to be hypocrites and say a one vote win is enough
