Ever hopeful that continually piling it up will shrink the muck heap so that it will still fit on the concrete until the day before it might be dry enough to put on a field..

How do you like the bucket grab Pan mixer?

I'm thinking of getting one but not sure if it would be too heavy for my loader tractor?
That one isn't the bucket grab, it is a general purpose one. However I usually use the bucket grab for this job and I always use it for mucking out, filling the spreader etc. Brilliant bit of kit. I wouldn't want it on my 627 though - this loader is a 741 but my bucket is the biggest one as it is a bit wider than the loader.

I'm fed up with the muck "snowballing" with the bucket on, but I'm a tad apprehensive if it will be too heavy for her.

I did consider a tine version but my old man doesn't need much of an excuse to break concrete up! 😂

I have a tine option, it leaks stuff all over the yard, it would dig bad concrete too.

In my humble opion this size bucket is very heavy but it is hugely robust. There are lighter ones available I understand.

It was a six foot version I was looking at and was wondering if the grab part would put a lot of extra weight on the front end?

The bucket would be a lot more versatile in our day to day jobs and I think worth the extra cost to the tine version.

Thanks for your input pan mixer, much appreciated.

Labour availability doesn’t seem to be an issue for you. What sort of pay rate do your staff get if you don’t mind me asking?
Very much dependent on the job but from $100 per month for basic labour to $1000 for the farm foreman. We have 400 people all permanent employees entitled to holiday pay and other benefits. We probably could mechanise more but we actually have a duty to provide work for people.

And whats the approximate exchange rate?
