I don't think either side needs an excuse to argue the toss. They both have their share of crazies.
Getting rid of Fox news and CNN might help this constant right vs left battle? But it's not going to happen.
The only thing that matters to Americans is, will their lives be better in 4 years time?
There will still be race issues, still be climate issues, there's bound to be mass shootings and there will probably be a war somewhere that results in a loss of life to American forces.
Does any president change things that much?

He was a hero, who lost his life saving democracy from a mob, whipped into a frenzy by a evil would be unelected dictator. He (the policeman) literraly helped to save the US from barbrism.

He is inheriting a split Untitled States. Partisan news outlets will strengthen, deepfake technology will make it more difficult to separate fact from fiction and the GOP will attempt to banish Trumpism whilst keeping the core Trump base intact.
This will mean more potential presidential candidates becoming more combative and keen to lean into conspiracy and unsubstantiated and outlandish claims in the future, like Trump but with a slightly more gentle and wholesome image.

I think trump is a huge loss because he’s the only leader that would have stood upto China.
If he lost because of COVID, the same way the tories would probably lose if there was an election today, then he’s lost from a disease that originated in China.

China have just posted a massive trade surplus despite a global pandemic.
Trumps misunderstanding of just what a trade war does has enabled China to have the largest trade deficit with the US in 14 years. Whilst at the cost of 245000 American jobs.
I have to say, this thread has been one of the most amusing for ages, a real reflection of America today, polerised views and where truth blends seamlessly with fiction, I for one will be sorry when it's all over and obviously the loony predictions have come true, now what time is it, must turn on the TV, only trust the BEEB on these matters.

This is my point so many people are missing. The media is corrupt with its own plan so will tell you what they want you to hear. This is a worldwide issue but in particular U.K. and USA media are leading this rhetoric.

Oh, and before you say I'm a victim of the media, I've been getting my data direct from the various FBI reports and court submissions. I suspect you've been using Pinterest and Youtube, yes?
