As conspiracy theories go it has quite a lot going for it.

Sounds more credible than much of what I’ve read about him. And he was a registered Democrat supporter before he became a Republican (and a Republican before a Democrat).

However , wokey's have construed this to an extent it's now a term of ridicule .
