I can't see anything being put into law but it could be difficult to travel abroad or get employment for example.
Being that some people can't have the vaccine and no testing has been done on under 18's I can't see many restrictions being imposed. The floating petri dishes (Saga cruises) for the over 50's may get away with it. All depends if it affects their bottom line.

I reckon all cruise lines will adopt it. One case would mean that they won't be able to dock and that's the whole point of a cruise.

I recon it will be like Yellow fever, or a load of the other ones that I have had over the years.

If you have had the vaccine this queue, if you haven’t join that queue bend over and we will give it to you for a fee.

Whatever I am having at soon as they let me do I can get back travelling

Done - SAGA announced last week only vaccinated guests allowed. See link. Rest will follow. Within a few months you will not be able to go to a lot of places events without a vaccination certificate.

SAGA don't seem to bothered on efficacy, so long as you have had a jab and they can tell other passengers you have had it. Announcement last week.

Yes, I saw that news, I hinted at it above: #583

I do wonder if saga, mullins and o'leary are just getting themselves 'out there' to create noise about themselves?

Well of course they are - they know a lot of folk (especially the grey pound) want to travel (be free) but will still be frit but much more comfortable if everyone is jabbed. So O'Leary will get the old ones jabbed as they feel frit and as for the young 'uns who want to go to magaluf but aren't bothered about getting a vaccine, well no cheap flight (or nightclub) for you me laddy until jabbed - so even the young will get jabbed. Government doesn't need to get involved, good old capitalist markets will do the job - and then once the market sorts it out government can creep in behind. Simples. O'Leary will get more done than any proclamation from Boris Johnson.

Carer woman I know is after headache relief suggestions after having hers.
A friend was saying yesterday his daughter works in a care home and had her jab last week when local GP came in and gave all residents and staff the AZ vaccine. They were told 'you WILL get a headache after about 24 hours, you may feel nauseous, possibly very tired and of course a sore arm.' She did get the headache after about 36 horus and the sore arm. Many many medicines and vaccines have minor side effects. A small price to pay.

Every day is a school day, I had to look up 'frit'.

Do you think these businesses will put all employees on gardening leave that can't or won't take the vaccine?

There was a recent report in a paper about about 20% of care workers not taking the vaccine but no mention of the fact that many care workers are females of child bearing age and a fair number would actually be pregnant, and of course current advice is not to have it. (I do know of some prengant hospital workers in late pregnancy who have decided, after talking to appropriate colleagues, they would prefer to risk the vaccine than the virus, given their exposure, and have opted for it).

NO idea Charlie. But old mucker Mullins seems to know his customers - well to do Londoners (have to be paying his charge out rates) and is prepared to contest it in court. If you google around there are a few legal opinions on the matter. Will depend a bit on the business. And I suppose a bit on how folk react once lockdown starts to ease up in the spring. Gonna be fascinating.

The guys he sends into houses are mostly, if not all, self employed. I heard him on lbc, he won't be forcing anyone already working for him to have it but is investigating not employing anyone new who hasn't had the vaccine. His "top lawyers" are on it!

Yes, I saw somewhere a legal review of good 'ol Charlies situation - can't remember where now. But I think it will become awkward not having one.

Here is an example. Don't think Yellow Belly's view in an earlier post will work. No legislative compulsion and to restrict anyone without will be discriminatory.
