If there just carting grain 3/4 height grain will empty easilyI think a standard wet kit on tractor units is about 190L, most tractors can't spare that much.
However, I wouldn't think you would need to tip them fully for dry grain?

Some of us were bought up on 4 wheelers, you can put them anywhere.I don't like dolly/5th wheel trailers. Makes me cringe just seeing them. I can't reverse them for toffee- my brain can't handle it. Can't reverse wholecrop headers on a trolley either because they are just the same. Alright on main roads but meet a car on a narrow country lane and I'd be fudged.

Looking to buy a couple of ex lorry bulkers to store seed/odds in. Will a farm tractor (puma) be able to tip it? Im assuming that there wont be enough hydraulic capacity?
If this is the case is there a hydraulic system that we could mount to the dolly? Could go down the donkey engine route I suppose.
Use one on a xerion it can just tip trailer all the way before low oil light comes on not much of a worry as has separate hydraulic tank it holds about 200 litres
More practice needed then, and don't look around, I can reverse them fine with mirrors but if I turn around and look out I get confused lolI don't like dolly/5th wheel trailers. World of difference between using dolly and fifth wheel!More practice needed then, and don't look around, I can reverse them fine with mirrors but if I turn around and look out I get confused lol
I'm used with a rigid lorry and drag with a turntableWorld of difference between using dolly and fifth wheel!
I did a lot of baling in Canada with a Zetor, small square baler with a kicker and a 4 wheeled trailer like this.I don't like dolly/5th wheel trailers. Makes me cringe just seeing them. So I take it that is a hydraulic pump to raise the trailer driven by a hydraulic motor from the spool on the tractor? Is there much loss of flow in the transition? Is the up and down then controlled by an electric spool bank?Pictures of the parts used in the building of an extra hydraulic system to operate a high tip trailer.
It would be hard to get the right amount of oil back in each tractor, and they would need to be using the same oil.Wouldnt worry about flow rate if you are only tipping it a few times a year . If you are tipping staticly you could tap into 2 tractors .
