How the heck can these eco nutters not say that is beautiful countryside, managed and farmed well?
It’s beautiful that’s for sure, but deserted up the glens. Not many chances for young people to get a farm around there, one big estate isn’t letting the farms out as they come available, they will let some of the ground out for grazing but the house goes to a higher income family.
they don’t want to sell small patches to people.
So it’s a bit dead farming wise.
You also don’t see the big patches of bracken creeping up the hills and the big areas that are getting covered with trees.
Stunning though.

Farmers are disappearing fast
all those farmhouses should have section 75 s slapped on them
