Has the guy with vet partner who has gone farming in a big way bitten off more than he can chew?
Bit of a learning curve with the huge expansion.... But good luck to them.

Why do you say that?Has the guy with vet partner who has gone farming in a big way bitten off more than he can chew?
And a chalk stream teeming with wild trout!I often wondered what possessed them to think a croft with no soil and no in-bye as a suitable retirement small holding. My idea of a retirement small holding would be a nice bit of undulating land in mid Devon with a reasonable house and buildings.
Get your son onto it. Bet it would be good!Fair play to all them baring their souls ha ha , after they had an advert wanting more farmers for next series and my thoughts were No bloody way !!
The preview for next week doesn't look good!Bit of a learning curve with the huge expansion....

I am sure the editors decide what "character" each couple is going to play, then edit accordingly, all to make good compulsive viewing, that is fine if you are the couple they want to portray in a a good light, not so good, if they want to show you as the opposite!Where’s Joyce been of late? She is fab, I love her enthusiasm for it all.
And hats off to anyone who does it, because your fate hangs with the editor of the show . All your good bits , funny moments could end up on the cutting room floor, and you could come across as a right grumpy git!
or just les someone else graze there cows on it / on tack type thingSurprised he never mentioned replacing the 9 cows with 30 sheep, who would be better suited to the land and more saleable.
lacked handling system. Always looked too dangerous to me when they are chasing the stock around. This is the issue with having a small amount of stock you still need a decent system in place its just not viable.
I was worried for Joyce, those f'ing antis and their agenda really got to her. She appears to have bounced back on social media like Instagram now. I didn't take kindly to seeing her so down and despite all she does for promoting agricultureWhere’s Joyce been of late? She is fab, I love her enthusiasm for it all.

She became a target for the vegan lot@JP1 why was Joyce so badly trolled on Twitter etc, what upset them so much? I hadn’t seen anything bad?

The trouble is the extreme/more vocal vegans will not enter into a proper debate.
Been watching a few clips on you tube and while the farmers or meat eaters try to be reasonable- "we look after our animals well" "shearing is vital for welfare reasons" etc. the vegans just repeat things like "you rape cows" you murder calves" "I've seen sheep die when sheared"
No discussion, just abuse.
