Boris said it was £350 million per week surplus from brexitAs of 2019, the UK contributed approximately 9.4 billion to the EU budget and received 8.52 billion back.Jan 19, 2021

The above is after everything is taken into account, rebate , etc.
Not a bad deal when you look at the shambles now.
Knowing the price of everything and the value of nothing!
don't, and never have. But i seriously think you ought to read the news from europe, from several major countries, and from europe itself, so actually know what is happening, such as your beloved leader macron, has just had the pleasure of presiding over the EU, and france's biggest and worst balance of trade deficit, ever recorded. Please stop reading the Express!
And whats the uk trade deficit?don't, and never have. Just as the BBC over here, never say's anything much about brexit, only the bad, perhaps you are the same. But get on with reality, and read the real news about the EU, not the redacted versions.
a fraction of frances. In fact our economy is expected to boom, way before the EU, simply because of our speedy vaccinations. The proof of that can be clearly seen, in the money mkts, the £ is at a high v the dollar, but perhaps more telling, is the fact that approx 1500 new finance businesses have applied to open new branches in the UK, 1,000 of them are from EU, despite brussels trying to destroy the 'city' by refusing equivalence, it has just been crowned the best in the world, which is amazing. The future is in our own hands, it is up to our guv to exploit that. Liz Truss, has done a fantastic job of creating trade deals around the world, lets just hope we can take full advantage of them. And whats the uk trade deficit?

Those figures were from before Covid and Brexit I believe so it could be worse for them going forward. And whats the uk trade deficit?
sorry, matter of public record, no doubt what so ever about frances most embarrassing figures.I dont think so
You need to stop reading your anti eu and anti scottish paperssorry, matter of public record, no doubt what so ever about frances most embarrassing figures.
and the £ continued to gain against the dollar and the euro, money mkt's couldn't care less about anything other than their pockets, so those continuing gains, just show the level of confidence, they have in the UK.
When one stops listening to the BBC, you get a completely different set of facts, from all over the globe, including europe, as they all pretty much agree, one has to assume they are correct, many actually quote the men behind the facts.
You are from Scotland, what are your views on Alex Salmonds evidence, hastily redacted by sturgeon cronies, the bit i can't understand is why she is so keen on re-joining the EU, when she has been told there isn't any way she can.
Both spain and belguim have told her, categorically they will veto any application.
QuietAs far as I can make out the UK had a trade and services deficit in 2018 of approximately $85billion
France had a deficit of $23.5billion.
Am I missing something here?
Read and watch every day. Yes it's bad, but not as bad as the UK .don't, and never have. But i seriously think you ought to read the news from europe, from several major countries, and from europe itself, so actually know what is happening, such as your beloved leader macron, has just had the pleasure of presiding over the EU, and france's biggest and worst balance of trade deficit, ever recorded.
