Fleet of tractors

Hi does anyone no what kind of discount you would get from dealers for buying a fleet of tractors from them , all at the same time ? I mean like buying 25 at once ? Rough figures as a percentage like 10 % cheaper than list price thanks

About 25 years ago a ford tractor dealer told me there was an additional 5% discount for anyone buying more than 5 tractors at a time, not that it made any difference to me, buying one at a time has allways been a big deal.

If such discounts are still available today when list price on fairly modest tractors soon reach 100k and for those in a position to be buying a fleet probably looking at far more expensive tractors, considerable amounts must be possible.

The only way to know for sure is to ask for quotes on 25 tractors and see what comes back, I know one guy who buys 3 at a time and the manufacturer rep as well as the dealer is involved in the negotiations

I have a mate who worked for local VW, Brook Motors bought 14 Passat's , VW do the deal and drop the cars off at the nearest dealers, dealers get paid a fixed amount for each for PDI and delivery, and then hopefully parts and servicing, Brook's had their own maintenance so maybe don't do too well out of it.
