50% of the Netherlands is less than a metre above sea-level, and there is no way that global warming is going to come to a dead stop even if everyone stopped using fossil fuels today. The Dutch have made fighting the sea an art form, but they aren't going to win forever, and that will start sooner than later. With 25% of their 'land' being below sea level, any rise makes life difficult, even the smallest forecast rise will make it impossible in ever-increasing areas of their country.
So, they'll either be painting themselves into a corner, invade somewhere or just, disperse... maybe the EU will find somewhere for another New Holland, maybe countries will offer parts of themselves. Most probably the Dutch will begin to migrate, the skilled finding this easiest.
I'm sure the UK will be happy to take many; but the rest will have to go somewhere and we won't take them all. Perhaps a large country such as Australia or Canada would offer them a 'homeland' province / state, but perhaps, not.
So where, and will they manage to maintain themselves as a people, or will they just be absorbed into wherever they go?
Edit: it occurs to me that Bangladesh and many other places will be in the same situation; there are >17m Dutch, there are >160m Bangladeshis...
