Old thread resurrection...

So I've now joined the Fiskars fanclub through the joys of online auctions and buying without viewing.....

Question is, what have I bought? The third furrow clearly isn't factory spec and the frame has been spaced, but it won't be staying as a 3 furrow. Am I right in thinking KH boards? There's no shin on them.

One in pictures is a kh 212. I think it's about 1984, used to have McConnel Fiskars sticker on it. Only use it now and again, bought as a change from vintage hydraulic class. 35 pulls it ok in the dry... Others on here would know more about them than me.

I have one almost identical to the one in your picture, except it has finer cross shaft adjustment.. The plate on the plough bears the name Kyntaja or something like that, I always thought that was the model name. Maybe that was were it was made! However I bought mine in 1985, second hand, so I'm guessing it was new in the mid seventies.

You have a Fiskars match plough which someone has codgelled a third furrow to.

Just checked my instruction manual, it's 1983 , when I got plough it had a long cross shaft and hydraulic front furrow. I got a good friend to shorten and lathe down an old kv cross shaft to fit 35. Handle and teethy bit came with plough and were cobbled on as best as we could!

Found this in the match ploughing group on Facebook, doesn't say much about the competition plough
