I think she used that argument in reverse when I was looking at changing our tractor last year!Haha!! Add that lot up.....then compare it to the cost of a new tractor.

It’s probably the only bit of kit I’ve bought that’s gone up in value! Thanks @Muddyroads . I've long been interested in buying a Moore Unidrill but they're always miles away when they come up for sale, and seem to have gone up in value a fair bit lately, if ebay prices are anything to go by (!). From your photo it looks like you were doing two passes, so is it an arable / wider spacing model that you have? Sorry for asking lots of questions but I'm really interested in these drills.
Are you sure that's your wife and not mine ? I recognised all suppliers apart from vanilla valley, having looked up who they are I might as well add them to my suppliers list as it will only be a matter of time...Chance to catch up on some accounts while it’s raining. By crikey my wife can spend!

She put her notice in at work today to take early retirement, so that might all change soon!Your making too much !
They can only spend it if you got it to spend
Just watched you do that on ITV local newsIt’s not every day you get a call to lift a rhino in a crate onto a lorry
Yes I’ve just seen it too, I was a last minute call as the lorry didn’t have a removable roof to drop the crate straight in with the crane.Just watched you do that on ITV local news
I thought it was only my accounts that looked like that. I feel a whole lot better now. If we don't have an amazon delivery on a daily basis they will probably send someone round just to make sure my wife is alright. I get told that it is cheaper than having children (obviously we have none) and we haven't been on holiday since 2001 so a 'few pounds here and there' is nothing to moan about and your tractors and machinery will last a long time yet.Chance to catch up on some accounts while it’s raining. Another early start......changing flood irrigation at 3am. (You have no idea what sleep deprivation is until you've done a season irrigating with gravity flood irrigation). No point going back to bed for an hour.....View attachment 946389View attachment 946390

Unfortunately I'm used to it. The next 2 months will be painful as it's full on Autumn irrigation of annuals. Cant wait till close of season in May.Go steady. Sleep deprivation is a killer.
