The what I f^cked up today thread...

We'll I've bought myself a heifer calf, with my own money, rather than wasting money buying crap as I usually do.

My Mrs is always dead proud when she's been buying calf's,

Turns out when I buy one it's too expensive, we've nowhere to keep it (all sheds are empty) it's the wrong type, wrong colour and the wrong decision.

I think I'll call her Daisy.
Or Miss Steak.

Well Daisy went to mart a couple of weeks ago, I wanted to keep her over summer on grass but with good prices and lack of company for her we decided to sell.

She made £920.

Reading this thread makes me feel so much better. I can be pretty hard on myself when I make mistakes and it puts things back into perspective when I am reminded that we all do it and it's just part of life's experience.
Thanks to all who have contributed.

Flatout like a blue arsed fly at the start of silage season 2019. Forgot to lock the knives in after changing them :banghead:  . Kept those bales separate so they didnt go through mixer wagon. Found them all today whilst sowing.

probably lucky not to pick them up any other year too.

I usually find the best way to find something sharp, is with a tyre.
