I was thinking we had to put them in colour coded piles.

Think the H&S bloke would say no to both. Them blocks look dangerousView attachment 953061Can someone tell what is wrong with this pile of rubble. We are aloud to store rubble on farm. To me it's a misleading photo which will give inspectors silly ideas of what's acceptable or not.
Keeping the place tidy costs nothingMy concern with the tidy farm idea(which I'm not against) is it will go to far and the public will turn the other way and say farmers must be making to much money look how smart their farms are and their expensive equipment ( even though its all on tick or mortgaged to hell)
We need a good tidy up and are getting on with it,but a town dwelling friend of ours with no connection to farming says" your a proper farmer not one of those industrial farms"
Not having a dig at anyone's farming just trying to make the point that going down one route to keep the consumer happy might not achieve what they think
Back to my clearing up now!
Same here. worst one was a trailer axle that had one hub knocked off. Thankfully he's getting too infirm to get in the trailer now.I chuck the scrap into the trailer and dad chucks it back out is how our tidy ups tend to go.
Quite agree but that wasn't my point. Public perception of farmers if it is taken to far was my pointKeeping the place tidy costs nothing

Don't mind the emails, but the texts are a pain as they don't come through downstairs in the house, and are received and alert me just as I am drifting off to sleep.Anyone else getting bombarded with emails and texts, sometimes multiple per day from arla!! It’s getting annoying now.

Yes drives me up the wall. Same thing sometimes by multiple email and text. We must employ plenty of people just to dream up all this content. Wish they’d just let us get on and farm occasionally.Anyone else getting bombarded with emails and texts, sometimes multiple per day from arla!! It’s getting annoying now.

The occasional text message is useful, not the deluge. Info on collections, inspections when I am away from the PC is useful as it might be urgentYou can choose how you recive messages on Arla farmers
