Average £144, ten pound up on last week for my consignment!! Happy with that, ewes a ballistic trade, £145 for a pen of lazy fat feckers, averaged £125 for ewes straight off lambs, very ordinary Suffolk and mules! Auctioneers earned a rest tonight 😉

Bakewell struggling for lamb numbers now 😳 only 350 hoggs and 150 springers in on Monday... store lamb man by me that has nearly 20,000 store lambs only managing small loads now he normally sends them by the wagon....

How come he only managing small loads?
My guess would be not many left! Although his son did put a Snapchat on the other day with 1600 hogs all in one pen in for weighing so I guess they’ve a few left yet 😅 but if you ask me... nothing has grown for a couple weeks now, grass quality is awful now... creep feeders are out for my springers and they’re still not moving much...
