Buying meds online

Been browsing online drug prices and they seem considerably cheaper than what we’re paying with our vets. We don’t have a regular vet routine visit.

Do many other people buy online? Is getting a prescription easy?

probably the most popular items sold on Tff’s Farm Marketplace

Will these online vets come out to tend your sick stock at 2am when it’s p!ssing down?
I’ve always found our vets to be very close to online and prefer to keep them going especially with the decline in large animal vets
Very rarely have a vet out to sick cows. Good stockman normally knows his own cattle better than a vet and by the times the vet has been out the cost is more than the animal is worth.
I too am interested to hear how others go about buying online, who does your prescriptions? As in is your normal vet happy for you to buy drugs elsewhere?

I was more referring to a difficult calving or a ceaser, I don’t get them out for something I can treat myself.
I don’t get a prescription I buy all meds off the vet

You have to pay your bet for a prescription depending on what you want I.e most injectable prescription. Fee from my vets is £12 I believe so unless your finding them that much cheaper it’s not worth it.
Our vets charge more than that I think,it’s pitched so that it’s hardly worthwhile you doing it.

Luckily for us (due to successive closure of local large animal practices round here) our vets and an online drug company are one and the same thing.

Turned out to be a win/win situation (y). We don't need to get a prescription to order stuff :)
