Will Scotland vote Leave ?

Can't be many on the English side who would lose much sleep if whinging Scots decide to go their own way into oblivion, the thought of Blatchford in Parliament never being seen again would be enough reason for them to leave for us!
Funnily enough, talking to a couple of the lads at work (Newcastle) today about this, they said that they would rather join up with Scotland if we went independent which surprised me!

Sadly, I think that what appears to be your brand of one-eyed English nationalism is what will be the ultimate cause of the UK breaking up.

Didn't he come visit you.
Not me personally. But he did come to visit our farm.

He was passing the door to visit the queen at balmoral. Was asked by another MP if he could come and visit as he had some announcement regarding agriculture.

I won't lie I was happy to meet him, as I like him as a person and a character. If it had been Theresa May we would probably have declined.

I thought there was only Scotland wanting to break up the union, I don't ever remember a single English politician ever campaigning for English nationalism.

" The English side " Comments like these are fuel for the fires, Along the same lines as the Scots are too poor to go it alone but too rich for us to let them go. Make up your minds! You want us? Don't insult us. You don't want us? Let your government know, shout it from the top of your ballot paper etc. You cannot have it both ways, either we are a drain or a resource, make up your mind because as a proud Scot I am sick of having it shoved down my throat that I am in some way a sponger off every English citizen.

And funny enough, you won't get an answer, if anyone can answer from an English point of view I would be delighted as it will have been a first.

I think it‘s probably due to the fact that the majority of the English couldn’t care less one way or another, wouldn’t make much difference to the English as we rarely hear positive words from North of the border do we?

So why do the English Government want Scotland to stay? That's the only question I would like to see answered? I can't fathom the fact that if we are such a drain, then why is it so important to keep us?

One thing that sticks in my mind is Tory (conservative and unionist!) party members asked if came down to it, would they want Brexit or the union. They voted two to one in favour of Brexit.
Think you will find the vast majority of people simply want their politicians to take notice of what they really want, not what out of touch city based politicians think they should want.
It was never a question of Brexit or Scotland leaving, Labour with a remain leader trying to get a remain MP into Hartlepool are suffering the consequences for their stubborn refusal to accept the majorities wishes.
Think when the crunch time finally comes & people finally have to make a hard choice the SNP will not get the result they want or think they will get, people are not always as stupid as politicians sometimes think they are!

But since you brought it up, yes it would be nice to have an English government/parliament instead we seem to have to put up with being under represented in comparison to the other parts of the UK.
:)
What an English governments (if we had one) position would be on Scotland's place in the UK who knows
