Out of curiosity, what machines have you been running on the PTO?

I bought it non runner. When i got it going had transmission problems figured that out now the light is flashing in centre of hydrive unit and pto wont shut off

Here's a list of fault codes that I've kept on hand, just in case (as copied from tractorbynet). Not sure if these are ART fault codes or visual faults displayed on the shuttle indicator panel...I imagine they're the same.

Jump underneath and check the connectors on the solenoids on the RH side of the transmission.

Now it wont move at all. All lights are lit on hydrive direction display. And when i press clutch the reverse direction light goes out. Warning light on display blinks slow 3 times then 5 times a little faster. The 4 wheel drive light stays on on the dash diagram. Regardless i. 44wheel drive switch is enguaged or not

Error 35 I’m sure was clutch pedal switch. Have seen the potentiometer bolts become loose. Whatever it is will beed ART to check and re set any how.
Which shuttle have you got? Paddle type or the silly switch

It has orange paddle type thing on steering colum with black button in centre. When taken apart it has 3 buttons attached to a PCB

First generation then, not the best unfortunately!! Have a look at the clutch potentiometer and the bottom contact switch first if it’s a 35 error. Then you’ll either need diagnostics or could pressure test the low pressure circuit to see if you have 18 bar, you mentioned something about 4wd light

Ok. Whats voltage ment to be input and output of potentiometer. I have 4.9v going in and 1.6v out with clutch up. And 3.2volts on the output clutch pressed to floor. Where is the test port.

I don’t remember voltage wise but it won’t be a constant 12v as it controls a PWM valve.

test ports for the shuttle are behind front of diesel tank or behind cab mounting other side. Model depending you can test for 18bar on the solenoid block r/h side if there’s a nipple there or otherwise you’ll need to T in unfortunately. It will be the feed pipe from steering return to the block, bottom one I kind of remember

Thanks alot for your help. As far as hydraulics goes lift arms and spool valves all seem to work fine. I was hauling gravel. And it just quit moving when i was backing up. I did notice bout a week ago same thing happened where all the lights came on on the direction panel. I pressed the pto switch and 4wd of and on again and everything started working again. Altbo the light in centre of direction meter was flashing

Low pressure circuit for the drive, splitters, pto, 4wd and diff lock work off the steering pump return and operate at around 18-20 bar. Pretty sure you have an electrical issue around clutch switch as opposed to a leak or pressure fault

Im gonna gopull tank off and check the wires on side of gearbox. I aso found a wire spliced into wire harness which runs directly to ground side of battery if i disconnect it tractor will not start. Assuming a sensor or switch is grounded out somewhere. On the bottom of the gear box there is adrain plug. Does this have a separet fill point from the rear end its on bottom of gearbox below solenoids for clutch

Put up a video of the flashing fault code so we can see if it's 35 or 53.

You shouldn't have to pull the tank right off, just unbolt it and swing it out of the way on the hinge.

No, all the same oil just a few sumps to empty when doing an oil change to get it all out. You can see the forward and reverse solenoids behind the tank by the cab mountings, splitter solenoids are underneath behind tank where handbrake cable is connected. Try wiggling wires first, good point about the 53 error, just seen the list of codes above:banghead::banghead:

So i just moved tank and checked wires now when i turn on key nothing is lit and light flashes 3 times then 6. When i press clutch centre light and revers direction light comes on. Video is slow to upload for some reason
