Interesting article from Australia about how Chinese demand for beef is driving world beef prices. Brazilian prices have doubled in the last 2 year's as they struggle to keep up with demand.

Is he still running Dinmoor?
He took 3 wilodge bulls and some heifers with him to start that herd didn’t he?
Not sure if he is still at Dinmore, or not. I think he's had a fairly major health problem a while back, which hopefully he is recovered from. I don't know what he took with him from Lodge Hill, but I do know that his boss there has some serious wedge! I've never been involved with Limmys , but I've known Bart around the shows for maybe 35 years, and I doubt that there's a better liked bloke in the job.

Good news for world beef prices if brazil has slaughtered 2-3 years worth of beef in 1 year to fill chinese orders and now will not have these cattle coming up through to meet the next years orders. Queer why the chinese only want under 30mth cattle when they usually eat any old sh#t, they seem extremely frightened of bse.
