The Demo Thread

that’s just for sowing swedes/fodder beet. Book leaf level for grass we use this first hand. Best Buy of kit for pulling ground around and leaves it super firm with the DD packer, not sure on the age but it’s ancient but better than any bit of kit. 2 passes with simba and a quick roll with the dalbos and its flat as a pancake usually.

Cripes, I would have thought that pulling that toptilth behind that little tractor would be sore on it? I had a 6m (rigid) one to pull around and it was hard going.

We had this on demo this week. We thought it may replace one of the loadalls, and a digger, and the hedgecutter.

It is a very nice machine, it takes some getting used to though!
It would actually do everything we wanted (just) but only with a dedicated operator, so not for us unfortunately.

You’d regret buying one for Agri use. They are ok on the hard but the slightest bit of wet and they sink to their belly plate and don’t even have the power in the arm to pull themselves out.
Had one here and wouldn’t have it back.

Near 12 tonnes without any attachments.

top picture is a neighbours 230cvx and walks away with it, cruises at 12k pushed it to see what it would take and 17k. Bottom one is our 145 maxxum. By no means does it break records but good going 8-10k. We go from blow away sand to blue clay. Had the JD with their permission on our heaviest block and was walking pace the first pass, other 2 passes more like 8-10k. Best machine for the job

T6.180 turned up this morning. Im actually extremely impressed. Noticeably smaller yet still a decent sized tractor. I think I prefer the T7 frame size, although the appeal of a smaller package is there.
We have dynamic command on our T5 but it always impresses with its silky smooth changes, a far cry from the power command with its jerking around and resorting to 12th all the time.
It’s more comfortable by far, the suspension seems to work better, and the seat is a big improvement (half leather heated and way more comfortable)

Power wise, you can tell it’s down on the 210, obviously it is, however it’s not a problem just know about it more on hills. I’d love to have tried it on the mowers to see how it coped.

I forgot how crappy manual spools are. !!
