According to the Daily Telegraph in the first year... "Britain will initially accept up to 25,000 tonnes of lamb; 24,000 tonnes of cheese; and 80,000 tonnes of sugar." Quotas will increase thereafter."
Once the full quotas are reached ...

Well done Skippy. A “fantastic deal for Australia”, with no clear benefits for the old country. Oh, Jacobs Creek and Fosters, will be cheaper and will make swallowing cheap Aussie beef a tad more acceptable.

Boris Johnson's 'global Britain' needs more than a tiny Australian trade deal

You do realise that fosters is brewed here and currently beef market prices in Oz are higher than here . It must be wonderful living in your happy little world,

But as I said above, if we allow Australia to export hormone treated beef and GM products, we will never stop the US etc.doing likewise and that is the concern.
Australia is the Trojan Horse, which these Liberals see as the key.
.
San Miguel is also brewed here , and it's better than the real stuff .
That is debatable🤪

This deal sets the floor for all to follow. The yanks are already firing up new production plants for chlorine and steroids, for UK bound meat.
Time Boris fired up a couple of production plants for lube. Maybe as a sop to rural dwellers, the lube should be distributed free of charge.
Should the lube have the red tractor logo? That’s the question

The spanish stuff is a bit beery for my liking , not lagery .
My god man! A Brexiteer who does not prefer beer over lager😂😂😂
I thought it all went wrong for you guys, when we took to Stella , kronenburg, Heineken and those funny German brews which I never really liked.
Actually the Stella now is a very poor imitation of the original, which I think the Belgians should have taken us to court for fraud and impersonation😀😀😀
However all very off topic

Isn't Stella brewed in Birmingham now? Not sure. Bit like Carling. Cheap rubbish that turns you into a woman eventually. The only lager I have ever enjoyed is Lowenbrau. I do like a good IPA. Flowers was always my fave but Salcombe do a very good one as well.

Do any of us really believe prices will stay this high when the pandemic is over & things & transport return to normal, supply & demand controls prices on everything!

Of course it does and demand for meat and dairy is rising in the asian markets Oz is selling to so why add costs to send it here to sell cheaper.
