You need to keep your head well away from the wall when eating it, I imagine

Agreed.Do you think the public do value that?
I think most of them don’t even realise it is the way it is through farming. They won’t realise this until Nut nuts, Goldsmith and Juniper have a scrubby wilderness in it’s place. Then the penny may drop and questions start being asked.
I again dispute welfare standards and environmental standards I'm the first to admit we don't have to put up with all garbage rules you have to put up with in the UK but then no subsidy for the Australian farmer you want the hand out and expect it so expect the government to shove a microscope up your rectum and tell you what you can and cant do cant have it both ways guys there is no doubt you lot are good farmers back yourselves you will be fine some will be better off some wont need to adapt the EU has free trade agreements we are working on one now and have been for a while brexit is not to blameSubsidys disappearing to be replaced by some airy fairy green scheme worth fudge all, other threads on this forum about the demise of small farms & people dispersing there suckler cows that have been on the land for generations, free trade deals with countries who can produce food on a massive scale with very little environmental & welfare standards.... I could go on..... Well done to all the farmers who trusted boris & voted brexit........
Well Asstree*, it's the first necessary step of several; but you just keep carping irrelevantly from the sidelines, that's your sort, and we'll carry on.So how does this trade steal by Australia impinge on trade secretary @Danllan ’s CONZUK plan?
I'll be honest with u I've always been absolutely fine adhering to the rules in exchange for the money no complaints wat so ever....!! I know which way my breads buttered & realised that we're never going to be able to farm in the same way as u guys as there's simply to many farmers on such a small area of land...... NZ & Aus are so sparsely populated it allows u to farm as u do & good on you, your doing a v good job.... I lived over in NZ & Aus for 12 months its so different to here u spray the hills & countryside with helecopters & aeroplanes in the name of efficient modern farming - jesus imagine if we did that here.........!!!!!I again dispute welfare standards and environmental standards I'm the first to admit we don't have to put up with all garbage rules you have to put up with in the UK but then no subsidy for the Australian farmer you want the hand out and expect it so expect the government to shove a microscope up your rectum and tell you what you can and cant do cant have it both ways guys there is no doubt you lot are good farmers back yourselves you will be fine some will be better off some wont need to adapt the EU has free trade agreements we are working on one now and have been for a while brexit is not to blame
sounds like a good idea to meFree movement of people between uk and oz could see a large exodus of farmers and money down under.
They will be begging them to return once they are all gnawing on wildflowers and treebark
The landscape appearance "public good" is probably the most undervalued one that farmers currently provide in the UK.
Only had it once and it was so rubbery it became very obvious how they bounce so well.Roo is quite nice.
This is our 15th free trade deal. Do you seriously think we will use the UK as a dumping ground for meat?? Only 2 of the export processors have been granted access back into the Chinese market since the "covid shutdown" . The rest have sold their products domestically AND made money. Good money..... Get a grip, for a nation that built its "empire" on maritime dominance and trade , you lot seem to have reverted back to hermits.Bozo agrees a deal with no scrutiny selling us out, where the hell do you think all this Aussie meat will be going if the Aussies fall out with China.
What the feck is the point of the NFU
Rather eat roo than stinking venison any day.Only had it once and it was so rubbery it became very obvious how they bounce so well.
I blame the chef and would try again
Good to see the UK shedding all that bothersome EU red tape post Brexit. I'm sure all those who voted for Brexit because of,"Better British animal welfare standards" are delighted
Tell us that again in twelve months time, seems any talk of quotas have now been consigned to the dustbinThis is our 15th free trade deal. It will only get exported there if money can be made. If it's more economical to sell domestically then that's where it will go. Simple. THAT'S how things work when you HAVE to farm on economics alone.Tell us that again in twelve months time, seems any talk of quotas have now been consigned to the dustbin
How far did you read into it though? Exports rose further to EU countries but fell to NON EU countries. And down again in April.
