farming's civil war is coming

I wonder where they’re selling it to, the vast majority of feed compounders and certainly all the major ones sell RT assured feed so need RT assured grain............ don’t they?

It just shows how corrupt the system is because my none assured wheat basically is a cheap buy to the merchant who then adds value to it by making assured before it reaches its end destination. If its a milling variety the added value would be in the region of £30/tonne for doing nothing.

Am out this year, found a home for all my wheat/beans and my trader said he has zero problem getting rid of feed barley. NFU insurance renewal in Dec but will be changing, left the NFU circa 20 years ago.
To get change you have to do something about it, vote with your feet, it's only going to get much worse and you'll still be on here moaning about it in 10 years time on you RT assured Laptop that they'll have a direct link into so you cant say any negative things about them on social media.
Thank God for the closed group!!
My whole idea re farming has changed this last year, I enjoyed it and still do but RT rubbish just bogs you down along with the ineptitude of the NFU, almost now an anti farming Union. I am hoping that by dropping RT I shall get the same enjoyment out of farming like I did before, am also going to boost income from units/holiday lets etc as have suitable buildings and am in the right area. Just fortunate to be able to go that way
