Fencing advice next to main road

Hi all I have been asked to put a single strand of barb next to a road thats on a bend also 60mph , I think this is dangerous and would like to hear what others think .
My worry is who does the blame lie with if there's a accident or if a motorcycle goes and gets cut in half ??

Tell them your to busy and won’t be able to do it if for a while if you don’t want to do it. Unless they have asked you to put it on the road verge wouldn’t think there would be a problem though why is it being put up, keep stock in or just mark boundary ?

I assume you mean stock net with a single strand of barb along the top? If so plenty round here like that, although as said I'd be tempted to put strainers for posts around the corner.

A single strand of barb all on its own probably isn't the best though, generally only do that when it is run alongside a hedge or dry stone wall.
