dog gone
problem gone . . .

one thing Ive noticed about the English - they are very soft on dogs . . .

people always say "its not the dogs fault", but there are FAR too many dogs in the world anyway

personally, I have a shoot to kill policy on any dogs I see, but obviously not if there are any people around

So what is the best way with these people.

In the field earlier loading some insect netting, noticed a guy running spaniels 150 metres from path from one end of field to the other.

I stopped tractor asked him to keep dogs under close control, extremely threating & violent. I'm in dry stone wall country & he picked up a large stone & threated to put it through tractor cab windows. Called me every name under the sun he does this "dog walking"
every afternoon 3pm ish.

I stood my ground stayed calm & firm but it is hassle I can do without & I can't afford to give in this is urban fringe land although in a reasonably good area.
Folk are like this now , had a terrier chased a cyclist just running barking, he went absulotly mental , he was fat and in Lycra lol 😂 I just said dressing like Jimmy savil I’m threee sizes two small affecting your blood pressure and your judgment , now pee off before you really embarrass yourself 😂 he did , but so aggressive unbelievable .

If you have a shotgun licence , you must be very very careful not to be aggressive in anyway and if the police get involved the perpetrator could still get you stitched up for being aggressive , if you have no s/g licence, in this case it will probably be a benefit

Put up a sign reminding people of their obligations

Report yesterday’s confrontation

Go back today and film yourself reminding the chap of said obligations laid out on sign. Presumably he’ll already be fizzing

Use words like “fear, alarm, threatened” when reporting follow up confrontation.

Now that encounter I'd have loved to have watch on video!

The coppers will have your guns at the tiniest excuse , if you have guns and want to keep them I’d suggest you avoid any confrontation , if you have not .... well !! Make him wish

Lycra clad fat man , his face was as red as his gimp suit ! You have to wonder perhaps his boy friend told him he looked good in it 😂 😂

Letting terriers get fat then dressing them in lycra is cruel, not surprised he went mental!

Some good suggestions here with filming him, involving police etc.
DO NOT do anything involving firearms, as tempting as it may be.

I don’t know what access you fellas have to various baits or chemicals, but if all else fails, can you spread some slug / snail pellets or mouse bait around that the dogs will hopefully eat ? Some 1080 fox baits would be ideal . . .

Laying poison baits in the open is illegal here. If fact, anything that works is probably illegal!
