One of them silly little things could of clamped pipe to air bag and carried on using it but wants fixing and fairly quiet with it at minute with weather. Just some bales to lead which will be interesting

Weighing fat lambs again All Exlana twins, had 2 drafts of males from here already.

The ewe in the middle with 2 lambs walking behind her has got them both over 40kg

Spreading muck all day then turned out to be a nice afternoon and hay bales got dried off so got a few led in.

Finished off washing and disinfected cattle shed prior to harvest, but with near an inch of rain in the past few hours and still chuckling it down harvest will be a way off yet

Which got me thinking, are we the only species which is evolving to be physically weaker? It’s not long ago that we used 2cwt (100kg) sacks. I’ve handled more 50kg sacks than I care to remember. Now we’re only allowed to fill crates to a gross weight of 15kg, and they’ve got handles! I understand the H&S arguments, but 15kg max??

I once grew some of them in our garden but I must have left them on the vine too long; they were as stringy as steel cording!

Little and large......

Seem to have been planning this development for ages. Suddenly Planning Permission came through and the shed erector said he could get here this week and the builder is coming next week.

We managed to get the site, roughly, shaped out just before they dug out the post holes but we are still clearing the site. All go and exciting............

What breed is he? We have a red angus and a stabiliser with the same kind of markings on their sides.
