If you think it's bad here.....

This is fairly frightening

It is.

Yesterday(ish) NZ had the largest protest since the Springbok tour... and it didn't even make the Saturday morning TV news "AM Show" in NZ

Probably 60-70,000 protestors, but not newsworthy enough for state-controlled media to report on - alarming

It's an extremely unsettling state of affairs, not only the trajectory as a country but the gagging/censorship aspect, the Maoist/ hardcore Leftist / communist leanings of members in the major political parties (Greens, Labour, National parties) as well as all the policy changes that were never campaigned on

for once we're the miner's canary, I was much happier when it was your role 🤣

This is just the start... talking to mates today, I think we were all a bit surprised by turnout as well as public support, the whole town was out there cheering on the "protest" - when you see shopkeepers with signs out, it's a hit

Nice also to see the farmers with a bit of spring in their step for a change - I dare say the next round will be even bigger, and quite a bit louder, there's a sense of unity when you have physical presence that doesn't exist online or at poorly attended meetings/consultations.

Had to have a laugh at Ms Teeth's response tonight, gushing with how important our primary production sector is to NZ, too little and too late.
You can see the fear in her eyes, behind the big smiles and effusive praise, there's real fear that the Labour tide is going out

My worry is which tide will come in, every chance our next gov't will be even less capable than these clowns
Keep the pressure on,I took part in the fuel protests against the ‘Blair‘ government and the support really took them by surprise.

You have to build support and grow it exponentially.

Government only listen when you take the power from them.

Go for it. (y)

Maybe blockade the fuel supply network…….worked here.

The fuel protest came within an inch of toppling tony blair
I took part as we were shut down with bad weather for weeks
The govt propaganda machine got into top gear, blaming us for hospital closures etc which was pure lies
Unfortunately the truckers backed down and blair was free to carry on his carnage

They don't have power or money... the people do

They're there "in power" to serve us, time they were reminded of the facts - and people are getting increasingly p!ssed off by these various liberties "on our behalf"

What is really needed now, is demonstration that their objective to divide the people of this country have been found out, I think NZers are slowly getting their heads out of the sand and deducing Cindy doesn't actually have our best interests at heart at all, despite the wonderful spin at the beginning

Same problems the world over, unfortunatley.

I see a lot of similarities between Jacinda and Nicola Sturgeon. Change the accent and the rhetoric and policies become interchangeable.

Both benefit from an impeccable spin (propaganda) machine and have implemented a takeover of the countries legal and civil institutions.

They, along with all social democrats’ industrial strategy is age old, simple and predictable - it must be taxed and regulated to near death which facilitates their ultimate dream: nationalisation.

It's ok for you we can no longer protest if it involves noise, inconvenience or upsetting anyone who disagrees with your reason for protesting, and God help us all, they have given the power to decide whether a protest can carry on to the plods who barely cope with all the laws they have to Police already.
