Hi everyone,
We have a very small farm with only 5 sheep, Left for work this morning and noticed one of our ewes had a lamb, came home late tonight and noticed she had another. She is now unable to stand, just can't seem to balance on her back legs. A huge storm was coming in i didn't wanna leave her and her lambs in the rain. We managed to get her into the shed, she definitely isn't weak she stood her ground and didn't wanna be taken away from her babies, a neighbour wrapped the twins in towels and the ewe was pulling me following her twins but kept falling over while i tried to keep her balanced.
They understandably all traumatised by this event they took a while to settle. She drank an entire bowl of water and left some oats and hay. I just checked them they all looked snuggled up and calm. It's now very late at night i will check on them first thing in the morning, any advise ? i'm gonna call the vet in morning ! poor babies im stressed with worry
