Just had a walk round and a big improvement on Saturday.tiny bit of flea beetle damage but I’m sure crop will get away now.other bit on some really heavy land was ploughed due to ruts left by neighbor collecting straw.it was drilled within 24 hours and the crop is there but getting a bit of slug damage and hopefully agronomist will be out today to advise.

We are chancing some this year. The hope is the gods can't ruin everything. If it rains and makes harvest difficult then at least if will help the rape get away so there will be an upside. Though at the minute its raining a tiny bit and making harvest difficult but not raining enough to guarantee the rape gets away. It really is a corker at times.
