I do try and look at it from his perspective, he's obviously worked his whole life just like me, however he's had money out of the job and spent roughly £800,000 on tractors and machinery in the last 20 years alone. He's also had a wife and 4 kids, 2 lovely grandkids, and every meal put Infront of him for his whole life.Obviously your dad doesn’t sound a very nice person. But maybe if we look at it from his perspective, he seems to be having to support himself and wife and well as 2 grown up sons on only 100 cows. Maybe he just has had enough and wants to sell up and have a nice car and retire.
That suggest you are a partner in the enterprise. What exactly is the business ownership model? We're all buying the land on a mortgage.

I suppose it’s up to you and your brother then to find a way forward if you’re not happy. Would you consider looking for a farm you and your brother could rent and farm in your own right or do you feel to tied to home?Yes! All he's ever done is buy shiny things, and whenever we have to go in the car with him to go get heifers home, he shouts every time he sees a new registration car because he's jealous of them and thinks he should have them
