Silage / Straw / Hay Price Tracker

Are they the same ones buying at the herefordshire auctions that were advertising in the FW with multiple telephone numbers, where has all the straw gone as surely that amount wasnt needed in the pet industry
Do we have any names for these blokes. I have sold up front to a guy. Money paid up front. Refused to bale Rape straw and then asked for a refund on rape and wheat. Has made threats. I have said I will refund him for oat straw. But who’s going to want the rape straw. I believe they have been in Herefordshire. 3 fastracs and a fendt, claas 5300 quad, NH Big baler and Krone.

Yes turned up on one farm with over a million quids worth of kit baled and cleared a 45 acre field then returned a week later to demand money back cos the straw wasn't good enough quality . Made threats and sent a heavy mob down from Birmingham who gave the farmer 12 hrs to pay 50% of the money into a bank account by bacs and if it wasn't there then they would burn his farm down .
Money was paid ....the account was a bank in Dubai !
He paid because with only 50% of the money left it was still good money !
What would I do ? 🤷‍♂️

Unless it was combined in dodgy weather and you felt perhaps you shouldnt have cut it then there is no way i would of given some money back, as for louts turning up with threats i wouldnt of paid on principle but would of either informed the police or set up a welcome party to leave them in no doubt that threats will not work against hard working honest people. Paying scum like these just encourages them.

If I lived closer boys I would snap your hand off at buying straw off the field.

Collection would be on the day you told me to no matter what was on. Prompt payment after the last load had been picked up, and I wouldn't send the heavies around!

In fact I'd be so good I bet you would rush to answer your phone if it was me calling even if you were on a promise with your wife!! 😂 😉
