Is linseed a good break crop

Not growing beans , although ideal as a break , horrible to combine and not much better to sell , rape would be good but circumstances have ruled that out

John Deere combine leaks linseed once the tank gets 3/4 full I know this now. clean grain elevator gap by the pulley. Watch out for that one.

Finished ours yesterday, decent yields.
Although it entails more work I grow quite a variety of break crops to spread the risk of it being a bad year for one of them. This year we have linseed, OSR, winter beans, peas, quinoa and a small area of fodder beet.
Just the quinoa left to do, it was the star performer last year, but doesn’t look as promising this time around.
