3 Day week

Is history about to repeat its self with winter coming and talk of electric going to be short will the three day week come back like before.
Then we 30+% inflation that is what the government want to help the balance the books.
I think inflation is already 30+% over the last year.
With all our old power station now shut or nearly shut down.

It's all bollox , plenty of leccy in france , they're baulked up with it . and plenty of oil in the world . job sorted

Have to fire up the coal power stations again. Hopefully this is a wake up call about relying on other countries to provide our power/food / workforce/ cars/ leccy goods/ steel.........

But I doubt it........

If the will was there, could lay a new cable in 3 days.
When I look round my local area, and see what was accomplished in 5 years during WW2......airfields, gun emplacements, air raid shelters.......millions of tons of aggregate turned into concrete and delivered by 10 ton lorries.....
We ought to be ashamed.

A informed friend said problem has effected very little in terms of grid capacity, sure he said 2mw worth and it’s been completely blown out of proportion as you’d expect.
